Jeff Cohen: Environmental Markets, Decarbonization Business Strategies, Global Policy
Recognized world-wide for his expertise on climate change, carbon markets, environmental commodities and ozone protection, Jeff has been working at the intersection of environmental policy and business innovation for nearly 30 years. He co-founded both Xpansiv, where was responsible for establishing its technology as the industry standard, and EOS Climate, the award-winning market leader active in California’s pioneering carbon markets. Prior to joining the private sector, he held senior management roles at U.S. EPA, where he oversaw U.S. implementation of the Montreal Protocol, as well as national air and drinking water regulatory programs. His award-winning work in carbon markets and in driving industry innovation across climate and environment has been recognized by the Climate Action Reserve, Environmental Markets, State of California, IETA, and the Montreal Protocol Who’s Who. In 2008, Jeff figured among the Nobel Peace Prize honorees for his contribution to the 2007 IPCC Special Working Group on Ozone Protection and Greenhouse Gases. He is based in San Francisco.

A strategic leader in climate finance and commodity markets, Jasmine brings over two decades of experience at the intersection of sustainability, innovation and global trade. She joined Climate Advisors in 2025, leading strategy and business development efforts to accelerate the firm's mission to scale market-based climate solutions. Before joining Climate Advisors, she held senior leadership roles at pioneering climate-tech startups Fiùtur Information Exchange and Xpansiv, the leading infrastructure provider for the global energy transition markets, where she led sales teams focused on deal origination, market expansion and execution of high-impact transactions in the fast-evolving carbon and environmental markets. Her expertise in sales and trading, risk management, originations and operational oversight comes from more than 15 years with S&P Global and Morgan Stanley, where she served clients across energy, metals, agricultural and financial markets. She is based in Rye, New York.

Across government, nonprofit, startup and for-profit sectors, Jill has more than 25 years of experience in driving strategic communications and thought leadership strategies for organizations leading in environment, sustainability, climate, energy and public health. At Ward Circle Strategies, Golin Chicago and Ketchum West, as SME and senior communications strategist, she has advised and built programs for U.S. and European NGOs, state clients and major multinationals, among them, Environmental Defense Fund, NextEra Energy, Johnson+Johnson, Nestle, Honeywell Corporation, State of California and the French nonprofit, Plastic Odyssey. From 1997-2007, she led P.R., Marketing and Communications for U.S. EPA’s Energy Star, transforming the program from government startup into one of the world’s most successful environmental brands. Her previous work on water, ocean and climate policy initiatives includes ten years’ service in the U.S. Senate, State of Florida DEP and at Greenpeace. She is based in San Francisco and Paris.
